Thursday 04/02/10

Sorry to keep going on about this, but yes, it’s Suede again. Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning at 0900 (Friday 5th Feb). There was a presale over the last 12 hours which I only found out about now, after it was over. I did self-harm.

Please, please, please, please, please help me get a STANDING / ARENA ticket; this is a bit life or death for me. I know I’m usually pathetic and desperate, but this time I’m really pathetic and desperate.

Link is: http://www.seetickets.com/tct/

Remember: Standing / Arena. I will owe you blood. (And I’ll pay for it too, of course)

EDIT: No luck with this. Has anyone got tickets? Any more suggestions / help? I will pay more than face value / in sex / in blood, sweat, whatever takes your fancy.

I have a spare ticket.

I will exchange it for a tattoo.

"Heroine" on your left chest cheek.

anon: Is this a site I can trust? I have never bought from seatwave before

peter: how about "pornographic and tragic" across the chest instead. Ha. But seriously. Do you REALLY?

peter said...

Pornographic - left cheek.

Tragic - right cheek.

Heroine below neck.

Works

PS I have one word for you: melatonin.

London Preppy said...

OK so basically you have no ticket and you're just taking the piss. Thanks

Contact me for delivery.

Since you have no email address, your profile is "unavailable" and I have no other contact details, plus you're quite cruelly taking the piss about something that's clearly very important to me, I shall go around for the foreseeable future looking through 6,000,000,000 people on the planet to see who likes to leave comments using the nickname "peter" and is aware of Suede and melatonin. I'll find you by the year 2079, for the Suede Juniors reunion gig in post-Apocalyptic London.

And this is the end of this. Anyone with more serious offers?

Seatwave are legit, albeit a complete rip off.

OK thanks. Oh well, £150 it is; it's the price to pay to get against the barrier and get splashed by Suede sweat

Did you ever get your ticket? I just looked at the site, and it appears that there are two levels of tickets still available:
FINE DINING PACKAGE MULTIPLES OF 2 & the STALLS PACKAGE.

Are these not the ones you were looking for? I didn't see anything about the Arena/Standing Area.

LP, I know you want an arena standing ticket but I see that on the Royal Albert Hall website they still have hospitality packages available which include stall seats. They are priced at £175 and £190 and I know you will not be bothered about a VIP reception or a two course set menu, but if seatwave resell prices are similar or higher, maybe this would be an option. Good luck.
Stalls VIP Reception
• Pre-show standing reception within one of the State Rooms at the RAH.
• Beer, wine and soft drinks available at the open bar pre-show and during interval
• Finger food and hot bowl food will be served among the guests
• Best Stalls seat
• Programme (1 per 2)
£175 per person

Fine Dining Hospitality
Pre-show hospitality in Royal Albert Hall Restaurant with Stalls seating
• Two course set menu from a choice
• Glass of champagne on arrival
• ½ bottle of wine and water per person (white unless otherwise stated)
• Best Stalls seat
• Programme (1 per 2)
£190 per person (minimum of 2)

why is the wine set at white?

How much are you willing to pay? I came across this on Gumtree:

http://www.gumtree.com/london/40/53848240.html

120 quid. One ticket available. The ad has only been viewed four times, so if you're quick, it could be yours.

That's the only standing ticket for that gig I've seen on there. They're hard to come by. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.
