In the last photo I can't tell if there's much water under your board (I'm guessing not much) but your legs and butt look omg incredible. I always feel surfers are happier people than most, full of joy and exuberance--and the wetsuit is a fashion statement sans pareil. Keep it up. Oz awaits.

LOL! LP, you know I love you, but a beach boy/surfer you are not!

Well thank god! The world was seeming all.."nice".. without you!

george: Definitely practice for Sydney. Will write details in story later

michael: Maybe that's my way to happiness?!

tim: Well, details in stories to come, but I certainly don't aspire to be a beach boy!

alex: We wouldn't want that now, would we?

Love the photos of you surfing. Brings out the Welsh teenage surfer fantasies in me. This might be a bad thing. x

Very nice photos! You look far more sexy than your board :p
It's nice to spend so interestingly your days off, and I'm sure you'll fit perfectly in Sydney's lifestyle.

To be fair dude, it looks like you had some pretty sucky waves in the photo!

Newquay is actually a pretty difficult place to learn. It's very crowded and a bit mixed even if you're good. If you actually want to surf in England, Gwithian (near St Ives) is much better, or Saunton in North Devon, make much better beginners beaches.

So basically, if you got up despite this, good job!

tim: Yes, I can't say I got any massive waves. Was a good start though and will try harder next time!

So butch! I thought I was looking at some men's sports blog.
