First, this is a video of some guys and these guys are playing Harder Better Faster Stronger by Daft Punk in the background and they're doing some dancing with the words written on their bodies. It's very, very good. A reader pointed this out to me and also I saw it on Matt's blog and you might have seen it too, but here it is anyway:
So when I saw this video I thought, oh I wish I were talented like that, my videos just suck. Then I thought, oh I have some words written on my body already (Bret Easton Ellis), I wish there were a song with included these words in the lyrics so I could do something similar. Then I thought, oh wait, there is a song that mentions Bret Easton Ellis.
And this song is Obsessions by Suede, which includes the line "It's the way you don't read Camus or Bret Easton Ellis".
So here's my tribute to those French guys who are dancing to Daft Punk above, it's basically me moving body parts to follow the lyrics. And it may only be 10 seconds long and I have no moves, but on the plus side some of my words are actually tattooed on, not just drawn:
And finally, here's a gratuitous and unnecessary shower video to Marky Mark's amazing 1991 hit Good Vibrations. Sorry.
Please ignore the ridiculous Aussiebum swimming trunks that you see in some shots, I had never worn them before and after realising they become transparent once wet, I am never wearing again. It's actually the ones that I wrote about (and wore for the picture) in the post here, but they are not transparent when dry of course.
